New Zealand has adopted the interRAI suite of assessment systems nationally as a mechanism to harmonise information collection and sharing for older people across the care continuum. The implementation approach has been successful but has encountered important challenges. There are many lessons for Australia, as we contemplate a similar endeavour.
Our speakers have been intimately involved in this venture since its inception. They will reflect on the strengths and challenges of the New Zealand approach.
